AEI Vietnam’s English Blog Contest lasted from 1 March until 1 June 2008 targeting Vietnamese students aged between 16-22. The contest aimed to promote English language writing skills amongst Vietnamese youth using an interactive online medium, the website My-eSpace. It also offered practical tips and hints on English learning as well as stories about Australia from the angle of its multi-cultural heritage, nature and people.

To mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Australia – Vietnam diplomatic relations, Australian Education International in Vietnam (AEI Vietnam) is holding an Experience Australia Day in Ho Chi Minh City on 25 May. The event is one of the series of cultural and educational events that Australian Embassy and Consulate General organise throughout the year to celebrate the remarkable anniversary.

The March winners and runners-up now have their own SIA Membership Cards. Why can’t we?

Last Friday, March’s winners and runners-up have joint an offline gathering at the Australian Consulate-General in HCMC. Bloggers had good time to get acquainted with each other and meet with Mr. Mal Skelly, the Consul-General who was an eager supporter of the contest. This was also a good chance for AEI Vietnam and the fellow bloggers to share ideas for a better My-eSpace.
